Privacy Policy
This privacy policy details the conditions under which Green Lanterns Podcast processes the personal data of any user of this website, referred to hereafter as “you”.
Although we do not use tracking cookies by default, we provide our users with the ability to completely disable audience measurement by clicking here.
Purpose of Data Collection
This website collects anonymous usage statistics. To do this, we use Matomo, an open-source software that protects user data and privacy. Our web analytics comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other international privacy laws. No commercial use is made of the collected data.
Data is used to analyze website visitor behavior to identify potential pitfalls such as not-found pages, search engine indexing issues, and to find out which content is most appreciated. Once the data is processed, Matomo generates reports for us to take action, such as changing the page layout or publishing new content.
Analytics Method
Our analytics tools do not use tracking cookies. They:
- Have a purpose strictly limited to audience measurement only (performance measurement, detection of navigation problems, technical performance optimization, content analysis) for the exclusive use of the publisher;
- Serve to produce anonymous statistical data only;
- Do not lead to any cross-referencing of data;
- Do not involve data being passed on to third parties;
- Do not allow the overall tracking of navigation across different applications or websites.
Data collected
We only perform measurements strictly necessary for the proper administration of the website:
- Audience measurement, page by page;
- The list of pages from which a link was followed to request the current page (referrer), whether internal or external, aggregated daily;
- Device type, browser, and screen size of visitors, aggregated daily;
- Page load time statistics, aggregated hourly;
- Statistics on time spent on each page, bounce rate, scroll depth, aggregated daily;
- Statistics on the geographical origin of requests, aggregated daily.
Data Hosting
All data is encrypted and hosted in the US by DreamHost, property of New Dream Network, LLC.
